3D Grafikunterstützung

Also Hallo erstmal an alle User des Forums,

ich habe folgendes Problem.
Ich habe eine S3 Grafikkarte benutze auch die passenden Garfikartetreiber etc.

Ichhabe das Probem das meine Grafische Oberfläche extrem ruckelt und ich nicht wei0 worrans liegt. Ich benutze dazu auch die Distris Debian,Gentoo und ich habe damit keinerlei maleste gehabt aber dieses doch kleine doch schicke Betriebssystem reizt meine nerven aus ;)

Numal ich bedanke mich im vorraus weil ich damit zwei fliegen mit einer Klatsche getroffen hab weil mein Bruder das selbe Problem hat! :D

was ist denn das für eine grafikkarte? hat die überhaupt 3d-hardwareunterstützung?
der treiber den du benutzt scheint die frage mit nein zu beantworten.

Danke ersteinmal für deine Antwort:

Also laut Windoof dmals is das eine Onboardkarte "S3 Unichrome" die Treiber funktionieren aber nicht.
Sobald ich die Treiber in der xorg.conf eintrage habe ich das Problem das mir meine Grafische Oberfläche abschmiert.

Die xconfig sieht so aus:

Section "Device"
Identifier "VIA Technologies, Inc. S3 Unichrome Pro VGA Adapter"
Driver "via"
BusID "PCI:1:0:0"
EndSection


Wobei ich sagen muss das is mein Rechner. Ich habe die Grafiktreiber nie verändert der Eintrag war automatisch so vorhanden.
