Anzeigeproblem bei TV Out mit Nvidia Karte

Hallo an alle,

habe seit ein paar Tagen Linux (Erstmal die Einsteigervariante Linux Mint) auf meinem Rechner installiert. Mir gefällt es auch richtig gut, leider habe ich ein Problem wenn ich meinen Fernseher über den TV Out Anschluss meiner geforce 6600gt anschließe

1. Das Bild wird auf dem Fernseher nicht in den korrekten Farben angezeigt. Es hat eher einen blauton.
2. Es lässt sich eine Auflösung von max. 1024x768 einstellen. Aus voriger Erfahrung weiß ich aber dass die Auflösung 1280x720 besser ist.

Ich hatte den TV auch zuvor unter Windows angeschlossen, daher weiß ich, dass der das Bild korrekt anzeigen kann und es somit offensichtlich ein Treiberproblem ist (oder ich habe es nicht richtig eingestellt :) )

Ich vermute, da musst Du an der /etc/X11/xorg.conf nachjustieren.
Mache vorher eine Sicherheitskopie der Datei, damit Du zur Not zum vorigen Zustand zurückkehren kannst.
Du solltest Dich auch mit dem Text-Modus vertraut machen, denn wenn durch Deine Modifikation X nicht mehr startet, musst Du die Datei im Text-Modus wieder herstellen.
Nach einer Änderung der Datei muss X neu gestartet werden, damit die Änderungen übernommen werden. Dazu startet man i.d.R. den Display-Manager (xdm/gdm/kdm/...) über dessen Init-Script neu.

Ich hoffe Du findest die richtigen Einstellungen. Viel Glück.

danke für die schnelle Antwort. Da ich aber noch Linux-neuling bin, bin ich ehrlich gesagt damit überfordert.... :(

Kann mir vielleicht einer einen Tipp geben, was genau ich hier konfigurieren sollte oder wie es selbst herausfinden kann?

ich hab außerdem einfach mal mit ner digicam n foto vom dem der Anzeige des TVs gemacht. Ich denke das sagt mehr aus als meine Beschreibung :)
Mir ist außerdem aufgefallen, dass das Bild beim laden - also vor dem einloggen - korrekt angezeigt wird. Also gehe ich mal davon aus dass ich wirklich irgendwas "besser" einstellen muss...

poste mal die dateien
/etc/X11/xorg
und

und falls es die datei gibt, auch die

Es könnte auch sein, dass sich einfach der Stecker gelockert hat.

oder es ist nicht das richtige farbsystem (PAL-Europa) konfiguriert, denn ich nehme an, das der fernseher ja mit FBAS angesteuert wird.

/var/log/Xorg.1.log gibt es nicht.
Am Stecker kanns nicht liegen, da es unter Windows immer noch normal funktioniert.
Wo kann man denn das mit dem Farbsystem umstellen?
Vielleicht sollte ich noch dazu erwähnen, dass ich den Fernseher über Component Video angeschlossen hab.

Bei nvidia gibt es noch diese Optionen, die vielleicht etwas damit zu tun haben könnten: TVStandard, TVOutFormat, ConnectedMonitor und ConnectedMonitors. Vielleicht gibt es auch noch dieses Konfigurationsfrontend, nvidia-settings ...

Ich habe diese Sachen aus einer xorg.conf für NVIDIA. Sie wurden dort automatisch, teilweise kommentiert, eingefügt. Auf dem Rechner gibt es das Programm "nvoption"; vermutlich kommt es daher, aber auch "nvidia-settings" könnte der Ursprung sein.
Wenn Du im Internet nach den Optionen in Verbindung mit dem Wort NVIDIA suchst, findest Du auch viele konkrete Beispiele, wie diese Optionen in der xorg.conf benutzt werden, dann kannst DU damit Experimentieren, ohne die Programme benutzen zu müssen.
